Xavier spends his winters travelling the globe and searching for the perfect snow in the most remote and exotic locations; and when he finds it, he rips it. With over 100 published photos in international ski magazines, and a few award-winning videos; most people have heard of this Morzine, France local.

Xav grew up racing and later took his skills to the wild backcountry of the French Alps. He had some good results in the freeride contest circus, but what really put him on the map was his unquenchable thirst for exotic and adventurous travel. His search for the untracked line has taken him to India, Russia, South America, Canada and AK, and many secret spots in his backyard in the Alps. As a journalist and story-teller, his adventurers have been published in many ski mags; and his videos take you along with him on his journeys to the powder meccas. And when he needs a break from the snow and his ski boots, XL continues his search for perfect waves and tropical beaches.
