Eva Walkner

Eva spent the better part of her young life skiing around gates and standing on podiums as a member of the Austrian National Ski Team (OSV). She competed in the World Cup and Europa Cup circuits, but nowadays she spents her time travelling the Alps and the world looking for fresh powder and sick lines as a member of the BD Freeride Team.

From her home near Salzberg to the many awesome mountains in Austria like Krippenstein and Kaprun, to name just a few; Eva is continually on the go, looking for new places to ski. Last year she filmed in Davos, Switzerland and then spent a month in the spring in Iran. This past summer she took a trip to Argentina to film a 'Sweetspot' segment for her clothing sponsor, Nike ACG, which you can see at http://www.nike.com/acg/sweetspots .

This winter will bring more lines, more travelling, and more fun in the snow for this freeride ripper. When you see her skiing, you'll know it...she's brought her powerful style from the FIS race-courses the unchartered backcountry.
