Jean-Pascal Charpilloz

Jean-Pascal comes from the French-speaking part of Switzerland, in the mountainous area known as Valaise. Very close to Chamonix and Champery, he grew up skiing these massive areas thinking that all ski areas were like this. Nowadays, he spends his seasons in Verbier, which is in the same region, but he tries to free himself from the crowds and explore less-crowded areas. His skiing style is smooth and powerful, but he tends to shy away from the contest scene and has made his mark as a freeskier through an artistic approach. Aesthetic lines and a pure enjoyment of the massive peaks that have always been his home.
